This policy explains what information 4 Heroes (4heroes.xyz, "the game", "we") collects, why, and what choices you have.

1. Information you give us

• Account: a nickname, a name you type when you register, and a password. The password is stored only as a secure hash - we cannot read it.
• Game progress: coins, hero levels and experience, unlocked maps, purchased skins and settings.
• Chat: lobby text messages are sent to the players in your room and are not stored after the room closes.

Please do not use your real full name or any sensitive information as your nickname.

2. Information collected automatically

• Technical data: like every website, our server receives your IP address and browser information when you connect. It is used to run the game, to prevent abuse (for example, too many wrong login attempts) and is not sold.
• Local storage: the game saves your login session and settings (volume, language, control layout) in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in.

3. Voice chat

Voice chat is optional and starts only when you press the voice button. Audio goes directly between the players in your room (peer-to-peer, WebRTC). Our server only helps the players connect; it does not receive, record or store any audio. To connect, your browser may share your IP address with the other players in the voice chat.

4. Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads, which keeps the game free.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at www.aboutads.info.

Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message before personalised ads are shown.

"Watch an ad for coins" is always optional - you choose when to start it.

5. How we use information

• to create and keep your account and save your progress;
• to run multiplayer rooms, chat and voice chat;
• to keep the game fair and safe (for example, blocking cheating or abusive players);
• to show ads and to understand if the game works well.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your account and progress are kept while your account exists. To delete your account and its data, write to us from the contact below with your nickname, and we will delete it.

7. Children

4 Heroes is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
