These terms apply to the browser game 4 Heroes at 4heroes.xyz ("the game", "we"). By creating an account or playing, you agree to them.

1. The game

4 Heroes is a free-to-play online platformer. Most of the game is free. Some optional digital items can be bought with real money (the premium hero Hunter). Coins earned in the game have no real-money value and cannot be exchanged for money.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password safe. Do not share your account.
• Choose a nickname that is not offensive and does not impersonate other people.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your country, ask a parent or guardian before making a purchase.

3. Fair play

Cheating, exploiting bugs, using bots, harassing other players or spamming the chat is not allowed. We may mute, suspend or delete accounts that break these rules. Paid items on accounts banned for serious abuse are not refunded.

4. Purchases and payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payments are subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

• Hunter (premium hero) - USD 5.00 - a one-time purchase. The hero is unlocked on your account permanently, including after "Start the game from zero" in settings.
• There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.
• Items are delivered automatically to the account you were signed in with, usually within a minute after the payment is confirmed. If something did not arrive, contact us.
• Prices are listed above and on the About page, and shown again at checkout. Taxes may be added depending on your country.

5. Digital items

Purchased items are a license to use digital content inside the game. They are not real property and cannot be transferred or sold to other accounts. We may change the balance of heroes and items to keep the game fair, but we will not remove a purchased hero from your account.

6. Availability

We work to keep the game online, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or technical reasons. The game is provided "as is".

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
